QBE EMPLOYEES GAIN ADVICE FROM PREMIERSHIP RUGBY STARS

Premiership Rugby stars David Flatman and Danny Grewcock are in Bristol today to meet employees from QBE, Official Business Insurance Partner of Premiership Rugby. The visit is part of QBE Team Talk; an initiative which will see top Premiership players visit QBE offices around the country to share advice on teamwork and motivation.

During the day the players joined QBE employees for an informal lunch, followed by a Q&A session. The best question submitted by a QBE employee will receive a pair of Bath Rugby tickets for a Premiership Rugby fixture this season. Flatman and Grewcock will be photographed with members of the Bristol QBE team.

Bath Rugby player and former England International, Danny Grewcock, thinks that QBE Team Talk is a great opportunity for QBE employees. “There are many similarities between working in a team on the pitch and in business. It’s interesting to chat with QBE employees about their work, and pass on advice and knowledge from other perspective.”

Alex Payne from Sky Sports News is an MC for the day to guide employees asking questions of the players. This is the first of seven QBE Team Talk sessions, which will take part at QBE offices across the country.

Chris Parker, Commercial Manager of QBE European Operations in Bristol, commented: “QBE Team Talk has created such excitement around the office. To have two international rugby players down to meet our employees and share their experiences on working as a team has certainly inspired our employees.”

QBE is an Official Partner of England Rugby and Premiership Rugby. QBE has also signed up Nick Easter as brand ambassador following an announcement in September 2010.
