This year Generate are supporting Climate Week, the initiative to combat climate change that takes place from the 21st to the 27th March 2011. As part of this landmark occasion Generate and its staff will be doing their bit to reduce the impact they are having on the environment.
After securing sponsorship for Climate Week as a client, Generate is trying to set an example to other businesses by looking at ways to minimise the effect on the environment. This week we are going to be especially conscious about what we do, and have taken these small steps to reduce our carbon footprint:
- All Generate staff will use public transport
- We have limited our printing to just 500 sheets of paper
- Generate ‘turns’ green and have changed our identity for one week
At the end of the week we will post a blog to see how we got on in our attempts to reduce our carbon footprint.
